Got in a fight with my Shadow (TRIGGER)

I lost.
I cut my face and neck. (And some other, less visible, places).
I’m so stupid. I have to go to work tomorrow and people will say, “What happened to your face?” I don’t know how to answer. I haven’t been able to think of a believable accident that could have caused the marks on my face.
Why am I such an idiot?
