I'm so sorry this backfired for you. I'm sure it must have taken a great deal of courage to change your hair color. It sounds like you and your T had an honest discussion about his prejudices. He did ask how he can do better. I hope when you are ready you give him a chance.
In the meantime, try to notice often how the darker color highlights your light colored eyes. Enjoy that aspect at least, until you make a change.
Take care. We love you no matter what color your hair is or even if you had none!
