Supporting each other in this forum

Posted by partlycloudy on October 14, 2004, at 7:18:58

I have tried many times in vain to find a group IRL where I would be able to advance in my recovery. I won't go through the list, but I have tried at least 5 different approaches by groups to attain and retain sobriety. I decided several months ago that I will find my own path.

To that end, I propose that we here at Babble can be a support group for each other. Nothing formal, but being able to share our attempts and failures, and prop each other up without criticisms or accusations.

Not even a counting of days of being clean or sober. Just a place to lean on each other and become stronger collectively.

What do you all think?
