I'd be very interested in participating in such a forum. Although I have been sober for some time, I do struggle like everybody else. The past year has really taken its toll on me, both physically and emotionally, and I sometimes find myself thinking maybe I'd be so much happier if I just had a few good drunks once in a while. It took me a number of years before I could finally admit out loud that I had a drinking problem. Even then, it took a number of years before I was able to, and wanted to, do anything about it. It's not easy to talk to people about it, and only a select few in my life know that I am a recovering alcoholic (family and a few close friends). It would be nice to have people to talk to that really understand.
