I've tried not to get paranoid, because I KNOW that it's not all about me, with all due respect. I'm sure he treats everyone this way. But from what I can gather, he doesn't do therapy w/a lot of people; he's known more for his pharmacalogical knowledge. But there is the same guy after me all the time. I've never seen another woman there, unless she has been with her child. He's well-known for treating disabled or troubled children, and in that work he has told me that he works w/setting boundaries for these kids and parents a lot. Mostly the parents!
So sometimes I think we're the ying and the yang. Once we reached a common place, but to do so I had used a positive child-rearing experience while he had used a negative one IMO. It was interesting.
I'll be nice to you, I promise.
thanks for your response,
antigua
