I'm looking around and not seeing pitchforks or flames so it must not be hell, it only feels like it!
I screwed up. Freaking out over it didn't change that I had already done the damage. So now I pay. Sucks but such is life. Kinda used to it by now.
Chalk it up to being inattentive and unmindful and learn from it. Move on.
