This is what my T believes. He believes it is important to get in touch with the feelings from the trauma, not just a recollection of events on an intellectual level. I don't like it, but one of the feelings I am in touch with is the sense of aloneness and lonely feeling, not empty, just aloneness even in a crowd of people. It is almost more than I can bear, to feel that way and then know how it is also associated with abuse. That's all I can say for now; it really gets to me.RealMe
