Hi Spriggy,

I'm going to have to disagree with pinkeye on this one. For me, once my anxiety was under control with CBT, I felt much happier. I have become much less disturbable and consequently, less depressed and much happier.

I think it's hard to put a blanket statement about the effectiveness of treatments, as I really believe it depends on the person.
