Yes, it *is* agony. I'm starting to be convinced that I will not hear from her - at least not before she leaves. On Friday's she closes her office at noon and has always returned calls by 12:30. Here it is after 3 and no call.
I can't help but want to take care of her - at least a little. She is a human being, one that I care about and treated poorly. I think that deserves an apology, T or not.
It's not that I'm sorry for quitting. I DO want to talk to her about it, but I'm not sure that will change anything. What I'd really like is for any parting to be peaceful and with each of us feeling we've said what we need to say and with no hard feelings. As things stand right now, I definitely have them and she probably does too. That's no good.
