I have read a lot about magnesium. I respond very poorly to it though. In my readings I could summarize what I've seen in probably two comments:
1) The different forms of magnesium can be as different for one person as SSRI antidepressants are different. I mean, they are basically the same, and yet very different. The different forms to consider that have worked well for others are:
Mg Glycinate; Mg Taurate; Mg Orotate; Mg Malate.
Somehow the carrier molecule can make a difference.2) Discussion of Mg is not complete without looking at Calcium also. The balance between the two is critical and varies a lot from person to person.
Personal experimentation is the only way to find out what works best and what doesn't.
