It also disturbs testosterone production, which is important to both sexes. Testosterone feedback regulates leutenizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone, and prolactin. Glycine may counteract the tendency to pseudoaldosteronism. Potassium loss in urine may be increased by licorice. Moderation, and only using it for relatively short periods, are important considerations.
