Or have I misunderstood or missed the joke or something? Is it perhaps your way of saying you aren't open to agreeing to always warn? I tend to agree with that myself, given the amount of time that you are away. Posters often have plenty of time to warn others, and to regret what they said, before you come around. For you to then warn someone and disappear would mean a great deal of incivility might take place before it was stopped by Admin. If the boards were monitored on a more consistent basis, I might be more on board with warnings on every thread (or on warnings within a one day span since threads can be freely started).
I'm sure you're not really proposing to do away with moments of mercy and freely offered grace.
