I don't care what anyone says, the best meds I've ever taken that have obliterated my depression have not been AD's.
Low doses of oxycodone, like 2.5mg prn or twice daily is fantastic. I only ever take Endone which is pure oxy in 5mg tabs.
Low dose ritalin prn, or 2.5mg daily around lunch time or just after, somedays I need up to 30mg, somedays nothing.
DA's, but they make me really sick.
Modafinil, prn 100-200mg
I am on 5mg of clonazepam daily which I know is high but it keeps me sane and level headed. That will take me quite some time to come off as I know I'm dependent on it. When the time is right I'll come off. I'm aiming for 4mg daily at the moment. I'm down from 6-8mg daily but it works for me.
So who cares if you get addicted to your meds? I used to have huge issues with it but as I have grown older. I don't care if it helps me feel better.
