At 50 mg there was one, but due to nortriptyline's slow absorption (peak plasma levels reached 7-8.5 hours after administration) i took it 8 hours before I wanted to go to sleep. At 75 mg i would take it about 6 hours before sleep, and the drowsiness would come on slowly. at 100 mg there is less of a 'drowsy' effect; i just fall asleep about 3-4 hours after i take it.

Thanks for the info, I guess I will have to wait a week or so to see if I sleep OK on it. I am mostly immune to Remeron's H1 blockade now, some nights I don't even notice it. Still sleep like a log however & did so last night after my first dosage of Nort.

Cheers,
Panda.
