Chloe -- don't forget to apply the "when you're depressed you tend to strongly focus on the negative" adjustment factorMANY people go through 5 or 6 meds (or more) with only partial results then they find something perfect for them...
hell i know people who went through 30 meds then one day they got their lives backand ECT is supposed to be much more reliable than any med so i'd say chances are good it'll have a positive effect
and i'm kind of depressed :)
btw if your doc is good he should be able to tell if a med is going to work for you after 2 weeks of taking it (some meds give a full response after only one week -- for example some stimulants and opiates)
