Scott - When I said Anafranil was like Paxil, I meant they both have some in vivo activity at the norepinephrine reuptake receptor. Both drugs block it much less than they block the serotonin reuptake receptor. Paxil has been shown to block the norepinephrine reuptake receptor to a signicant degree in vivo, but still less than clomipramine.
