It should still work to remove emotional stress and possibly reduce feelings of anxiety and depression.

Of course, it does help if you can remember how to use the coping tools you have learned. Interesting, though - I find that working through an issue with CBT can produce changes in "automatic thoughts" such that I doubt having a good memory is necessary.

Memory difficulties can be a symptom of major depressive disorder.

Have you ever been on either Effexor or Topamax?
