My GP happens to be a 36 year old female who just doesn't believe that drugs are the answer to my problems. For some people, I guess erring on the side of caution is a good practice. i just wish I wasn't being punished along with the "bad apples."
I used to have a Gp in her late sixties and she doled out meds like a pharmacy. i don't know which kind is better..........
I could never go to a male doctor. EEK.> From her description, I figure her gp is an old fuddy-duddy with stereotypical views of women. Once I changed gps, to a younger new one I found him more helpful, since he's not scared to discuss mental health issues.
