Hellooo, I'm browsing through and happend to catch this thread. Reading them makes me feel better, I know things with my 16 yr. daughter could be worse. When she was in middle school, she got staight A's, took the ACT, SAT, and scored very high. WE were thinking is was going to go the way we had always thought it would. Ha, when she was a freshman she started to not take school as seriously as before. To make a long story short, this last grade report informed us of two C's, and two B's. What the heck? We, as parents are stressing out over this and her lack of responsability. She keeps putting things off, and I know she can do much better. She has been depressed since her freshman year, and on several anti-depressants. She can't seem to be able to handle the pressure. She has so much going for her, and right now no boyfriend to make matter worse. She doesn't drink or smoke, have sex, and always calls to tell us where she is going. We are currently seeing a PH and hoping she gets herself together pronto. I keek asking myself, what did I do? She has a silver spoon in her hand and doesn't know how to use it, and doesn't care either. Good luck -L
