I guess I'm another one of those strict moms. My guys are in by 9pm on weeknights and midnight on the weekends. My oldest is away at college (19) and I have a 17 and 13-year old. We still want to know where they are and who they are with.
Sex is always a worry for those of us with teens. And, btw, it isn't just my boys, for those of you with girls. They call and chase more than my guys do! :) Being Catholic, I tell them please wait. Working with teen parents, I tell them to use condomns. And then I pray it stays on.
Grades earn priviledges around here. The first two pretty much get straight As. We have to work with the youngest as he seems awfully happy with a B. I feel very blessed to have great kids. Some of it is the luck of who they fall in with.
But teens are just HARD! Everything is a big, emotional deal. They are exhausting. Hang in there. He will grow up.
