jammer, maybe you can lay out your clothes the night before, when you're feeling okay. That way when you wake up and feel like you're in some kind of apathetic hell-hole (that's what *I* feel like, anyways) you can at least glance over to that outfit you picked out, and pull it over your head.
The sooner your morning chores are out of the way, the sooner the rest of the day can start.
I find that making a little list of goals first thing in the morning helps shake off the apathy.
my lists lately look like this
1) brush teeth
2) eat breakfast
3) wash face
4) feed cat
5) litter box
6) one item of businessand that's it. after that, I don't care what happens with the rest of the day, 'cause I already got the hard stuff over with.
Hop in the car and go buy a newspaper at a coffeeshop. pretend to read it while you people watch, and admire mommies who try to bring 3 toddlers to the coffeeshop. venti soy latte extra hot extra foamy 2shots of vanilla. etc.
((((((jammer))))))
ever try waking up on the other side of the bed?
