If you have any volunteer work that looks good too. And about any previous work - don't minimize anything you did because it all counts and contributes to your abilities today. Whenever I have been a position to hire, I was always interested more in a person's attitude and how positively (or not) they could talk about their previous work and bosses than the specific work itself.
Education and creativity matter a whole lot as well.
Hang in there and try not to be hard on yourself.
