But she has to come to understand what happened to her, but to do so in a healthy way (as I am trying to do as an adult). I guess the bottom line is that she is able to trust, which none of the rest of us are able to do AT ALL. If she can assimilate the experiences, my T says, we will end up with one adult instead of three/four fractured pieces. T says the little one is the true self, and that's a comfortable thought. I like her.
