I'm with you, I don't believe in spanking. It can easily get out of control. The punishment needs to fit the crime, and I can't think of too many circumstances in which spanking would apply. Although I could understand it in the case of needing to apply immediate corrective action to a small child, such as a 3 year-old running into the street. But I'm leery to do it myself.<I would suggest maybe some parenting classes or anger managment therapy.
