I always dreamed I could fly. And when I got a little older, I dreamed about a flying horse. Or I would pretend I could get small and go into the books I was reading. Think of the possibilities in that!
I like your fantasy of protecting your therapist. It sounds like you know you can, you are strong enough, if the tables ever get turned.
Have you shared either of these? I think you should.
