I can't say that reading works to *alleviate* stress, but it does provide a rest to my stress-exhausted body when I simply cannot work it out at the time.

I suppose it's a type of "burying my feelings", which we all know is bad, but sometimes I am just not in the right frame of mind to be able to do any "healing work" on a particular issue. Logically I would tell you that I try to go back to all the things that I "temporarily bury", but to be honest, my overall sense of myself tells me that I must have missed working out quite a few feelings that I have buried.

If I didn't live in a twin (double, duplex, whatever you call them in your part of the world), I would just scream as loud as I could- as long as I could for a physical release...

I am considering buying a punching bag to keep in the basement...
