I'm so glad you were able to express your needs in a way that got his attention. I wouldn't be embarrassed if I were you. Apparently that's what HE needed to finally hear you. I'm also glad he is so willing to take responsibility for his actions and their effect on you. Hopefully, this will be a turning point in your relationship which will lead to positive things!
