Hey folks:
I am really happy to see so many participate in something that is as simple, and can be as wonderful as a brief walk. I have tried for "every day", but a new job (which I quit today..thankfully..) stressed me out and tired me out so much, I really had little time.
So, I am still at it, trying to keep my goal, but yes I have missed a few days in between. But don't be disheartened, because there is always time for change. The reason I brought this idea up is in line with my thinking of doing "baby steps". And, the idea is to find a bit of enjoyment and mix in a tad of healthiness, not to become Athlete of the Year..heh ;-)
So, on my little walks, or 'journeys', I bring along a portable cd player, put on some music I enjoy. Some days if I am really in a bad mood, the negative energy gets released by a bit of exercise. A good mood can also be lifted further.
Yes, sometimes it *really* hurts just to do that 20 minutes of exercise too, so I try to be gentle with/to myself. Most of all..be *good* to yourself...because you deserve it!
Best to all..
Jay
