Rayww is my friend, so I'll take the liberty to answer, in case she's not posting tonight, and I don't want your curiosity to go unsatisfied...
Rayww is a woman... her "name" stands for "Ray: Wonderful Woman." Which, I shall attest, is TRUE. She is a wonderful woman.
I add my own personal "w" to her name: Raywww, which stands for "Ray: WILD Wonderful Woman", which is also true, in a good way.
I'll let her now speak for herself about whether or not she felt upset by your comment.
I didn't (duh!). I understood what you meant, and I echoed that, with my post. As a recently enlightened and awakened married woman (re. sexuality), I, too relish how wonderfully lavish our God was when He blessed us with His amazing gift of sex.
(pardon me, while I commence to go "off" a bit, directed at no one in particular...)
Should it be guarded with boundaries? Absolutely!
But it should also be relished with abandon within those boundaries.
The historic Church has repressed sexuality for centuries - and the people in that Church have suffered for it. Marriages have suffered for it. To the point that many people believe that God is anti-sex. Nothing could be further from the truth - He is pro-sex - it's His gift to us.
The Church has been too silent on sex for too long, saying only, "Don't do it", as if it were somehow shameful to mention.
We have to speak out, so that those who believe lies about it can be set free. The truth about how God sees sex needs to be declared, to the Church, as well as anyone else who wonders about it.
The silence is what drives people to pornography, and to harmful sexual relationships.
If people know how good sex can be, done God's way, they wouldn't settle for anything less.
How will they know, if we don't tell them? Starting with our own children!
I want my kids to know WHY we want them to be pure... so that they can relish the pleasure FULLY, after they're One in marriage.
Shalom, Dena
