[Disclaimer: I'm about to go into my own, personal sex beliefs, which are a reflection upon no one, but myself...!]
I'm talking about Holy Sex... designed, I believe, by the inventor of it - God Himself.
Sex between one man and one woman, bound together as one flesh, in marriage.
No porn, no pre-marital sex, no extra-marital sex, nothing outside of the boundaries of Holy Sex...
But within those boundaries, it should be intimate, deep, committed, lavish, loving, uninhibited, ever-better, mysterious, magical, pleasurable, spiritual, playful, soul-melding, body-throbbing, mind-blowing and FUN!!!
THAT's what I would teach the other "church ladies"... most of whom (in my experience) have been taught that sex is a "necessary evil" for procreation only, mostly for men's pleasure, and that "good girls don't"... stick to the missionary possition and for heaven's sake don't crack a grin!
I'd teach them from the Song of Solomon, which is, I believe, God's view of sex (He insured that it was included in the Bible, after all), explicitness and all ... that God is pro-pleasure, pro-fun, and pro-sex!
I'd teach them that sex is so holy, so special, so incredible, that it requires high boundaries in order to be fully appreciated and enjoyed.
I'd teach them that I believe that God is RIGHT THERE, urging them on, encouraging them to surrender to their passion with each other, enabling them to rise to heights of ecstasy, joy and physical/emotional/spiritual oneness...
And God is smiling upon them as they do...
That's what I'd teach them.
And God would smile on me, as I do.
