Not only did I not finish the book because of unsympathetic characters and boredom, but I owe the library hundreds of dollars for keeping the book forever, thinking that perhaps I would get interested. (well, at least $5 and I still haven't returned it.)
AND I am relieved that many of y'all did not like it either. After all the pre-accolades, I started doubting my ability to enjoy brillant literature.
