Hi,
I have almost finished the book; I am so sorry that
I did not proceed faster - we got a dog from the SPCA, "Spot"
a really lovely Staffordshire/Brittany spaniel mutt - our world
is upside down right now and i noticed my book is overdue;
sigh....
What I have thought of it so far... seems like a
study in narcissism and social maladaptation. There
is quite a bit of humour in the description. I particuarly
like Ignatius' thumbing his nose at social conventions.
But what does he like? Why does he hide in his room
all the time? He has some problems - could it be
that he has not accepted his homosexuality?
Well, that's lame - I apologize, but as I said
we are in the midst of chaos right now (4 cats
to negotiate with the dog)
