I saw her on Booknotes and thought she had good insight, common sense, and a kind of pioneer spirit.
Could you recommend one of her books? I've thought about getting "Whacked" or "Dogs" - for my daughter who's showing an interest in politics.
For me politics is like a black hole - it will completely consume me so I have to steer clear of the event horizon. I've even had to delete the news channels on my TV remote.
