We have Mayors *g*

I'm not 100% they serve the same purpose, but I think they're pretty similar.. Ours lead our local councils - the local government areas, but tend to be more ceremonial in their duties. Cities are starting to elect their mayors - London has a mayor elected by the people, Ken Livingstone, and his isn't a ceremonial role (though we ALSO have a ceremonial mayor *l* very confusing I know!)..
