it depends. 'depression' covers a lot of ground, obviously. also depends on history, the prescriber, insurance coverage issues, etc.

what i've seen....

seroquel+upper (in my acquaintance's case, adderall).

what i'd call a 'modified goof ball' : upper, downer, neuroleptic or antidepressant.

lamictal+antidepressant.

lamictal+upper

tca...sometimes. tca+lithium, tca+benzodiazepine, tca+'atypical,' now and then tca+upper, but that can cause cardio issues.

ssri or ssnri + buspirone...

ssri+wellbutrin...

ssnri+remeron

wellbutrin+remeron

mirapex is apparently an option, sometimes...but it seems not as monotherapy. looks more like...

ssri+mirapex; 'atypical' + mirapex; lamcital+mirapex+antidepressant

provigil or nuvigil in place of amphetamine or ritalin. now and then, wellbutrin+upper or provigil.

gabapentin, sometimes lyrica instead of a benzodiazepine.
