I so think the new revelation that folic acid counteracts the effects of Lamictal needs to be mentioned more. (Deplin included). I was on Reddit the other day in bipolar group and someone was PROMOTING taking folic acid with Lamictal. Said it helped their cognitive side effects. Lots of up votes like oh wow I'm gonna try. Well sure it'll help side effects if it makes the drug ineffective.
