yes....but it's not really a choice i doctor would make.....they would use it off label for sleep, if you asked your doctor something for sleep that would not be the first thing in mind......it just stablizes nueron firing, the voltage reduces over firing, producing a indirect calm.......
depakote also could be used for sleep too.....
