I've never had heartburn on an SSRI. I did feel queasy for the first week or so on Paxil. Apparently the drug messes with the center of the brain that registers nausea. But it wasn't severe and went away pretty quickly. I don't know if heartburn is a common problem with the SSRIs or if you're likely to have it with another SSRI.

I did sleep well on Paxil.
