The others didn't really do much for me at all except for xanax which was great for anxiety but no good for sleep. Good luck, lack of sleep sucks. You might find nitrazepam a touch heavy at first but it only takes a cup of coffee and a shower and then you are set for the day, with a nice, tranquil feeling and fully functional. I was very scattered from klonopin and found it hard to focus on what I was doing. Everyone is different, as you know, so it can't hurt to ask, if he says no, I'd go for the valium option. It's a great benzo for sleep/anxiety too.
Sorting out sleep has been majorly beneficial for me in my recovery and I have turned a major corner from it. Have you thought about trying a sleep study, it has changed my life. I don't need mogadon very often anymore but my situation is probably very differnt to yours, peace to you!
