Tom I'm sorry about the land of my birth's attitude to benzos. How can it be OK to prescribe Zyprexa but not a benzo? Nardil while it can be effective comes with dietary restrictions that can make it dangerous if these are ignored. And then there's often weight gain. Zyprexa caused me weight gain and loss of control of my blood sugar (I'm diabetic II). Benzos OTOH are benign, safe in overdose and pretty effective for most. Their only problem is they are somewhat habit-forming, especially Xanax. And there is the reason for the bigotry
