There are plenty of posts about dietary restrictions in the archives, I think sometime around August or Sept. 2001. Searching MAOI diet may get you to them.
Specifically about soy products, a previous poster has it correct...hydrolyzed soy protein is a no-no. Fresh tofu is fine, but fermented or marinated is not. Soy milk should be fine, but you want to watch the expiration date, as you do on all things. I personally tend to avoid soy protein at all, because I'm pretty conservative about my diet and I am not a vegetarian.
You may find more specific info. from the archives, as there is a TON of stuff there. Also, any research or lists produced prior to 1996 is likely to be more conservative than necessary. They did not start measuring the tyramine in foods until then.
