Remeron not the med for anxiety

First of all, Remeron is is not a good med
for anxiety. From what people say around the
web (and from my own experience) Remeron can
even exasperate anxiety. [Especially if you're above 15 mg]. It will help you sleep at first
but this can wear off.

When I raised from 15-30mg I the norepinephrine blockade intensified everything. Heart palps, sweating and knots in stomach. How much do you take?

What meds in the SSRI family have you tried?

Don't tell me you've tried effexor, cause this
is no good for anxiety.

You need to be on something different. Go to a psychiatrist or another doctor if your current
one is being in the least bit stingy.

Meds that can really help some cases of anxiety
are.

1. Nardil, Parnate (These drugs raise almost
every brain chemical known
to man - many find them
extremely effective.

2. TCA Amitryptaline/Doxepin etc

3. Lithium/
Stabalizer Lithium, Nurontin, Depakote
are all good for breakthrough
anxiety

4. Anti Pyschotic Thioridaizine etc. If you're
going to kill yourself, what
the heck does slight TD risk
matter. These can be very
helpful.

5. ECT Also extremely effective

6. Beta Blockers These can reduce/eliminate
the physical symptoms.
