I know it's better to do it in a class, but I'm thinking I'm too self conscious to do that, even if I could find somewhere and sometime convenient to my broken up running all over the place days.
I'm on my way to being totally off klonopin for the first time in ten years and although I'm not particularly anxious right now, I think I'd like to augment my therapy with something physical.

excellent great cuing, never the same workout each day. download directly or use iTunes podcast.
Gorgeous scenery, and no obscenely difficult poses. Clearly indicates whether a class is beginner or more advanced.
good luck to you. wish I had the motivation

Thanks!
I'm not sure it's motivation as much as desperation. I have to do *something* because my lack of fitness is affecting my life.

Dinah,
Do you have cable or satelight? I know they have yoga several times a day on the Lime network I think it is called, and on other stations too.I like Rodney Yee tapes, (which are also on tv), and if you go with the beginner tapes, they would be best to start with.
I like to go to yoga classes, the instructor can help with the poses or motify them if need be. Plus it is in a dimly lit room, so you don'thave to be so self conscience. Once you start classes you realize that others are concentrating on doing there own stuff because you really can't be looking around much and be doing it correctly.
The most important part to yoga, is the breathing. It isn't just stretches, it is breathing and movements at once. On some of the harder poses, it is very hard to breathe correctly, but you do get better the more you do it.

"Yoga for You: Unworkout 2" with Dixie Carter. (I have just the Unworkout 2 on VHS, don't know if it comes with just one on DVD)
She is very tolerant, there are 2 workouts 20 minutes each. I find it helps me a lot.

My therapist is nagging me to go to a class, but I really don't think I'm up to that.
I'll look into these.
