Wow! Today I tried the class for the first time and it was great, I am so relaxed! The peaceful music, waterfalls, and dimned lights while you do these exercises and poses. It was quite a workout but yet it left me in such a peaceful mood. I love the relaxed breathing! Try it, you might like it! Plus I met some nice women!

they don't usually play Barry White at the gym, but in your case they can make an exception!

I've only done a bit using a booklet and a DVD (which came free in a box of Vector cereal), and even then can't do all the exercises because I currently lack a gym mat, but it definitely is relaxing. It's intense enough that I feel like I'm actually doing something, and I find the control and pacing needed really calming.
The class sounds amazing. Glad you found something so enjoyable. :-)

No, I don't really like Barry White, he's supposed to be the romantic type though....
Congrats on the pilates fun. I went to the gym tonight...good stuff. Now why can't I remember this when all I want to do is go home and sit on the couch?
I saw my T a couple of times at the gym (weird). I remember one day crying my eyes out in a session then seeing him about an hour later while I was hanging out on one of the machines. strange change of setting - freaky, really freaky

So we have BOTH seen our T's at the gym! COOL! I remember seeing my T the morning before a session. It was weird but yet it was only the 2nd time I saw him. Now, I just kinda ignore him, playing hard to get! LOL He is always the one that makes the first eye contact with me and smiles. It is nice :) Normally I am just too shy. He has always said that he allows the client to make the first move in a public place. I tried talking to him, but I felt he was just trying to get rid of me, so I haven't tried to say anything since that. I know it is all probably in my head, but it is weird sometimes.

It was so wonderful! It took away all my sore muscles from Pilates on Wed. The physical release is a lot like after sex, only it isn't as much fun getting to that place! LOL But feels really good neverless.

I'm back in a yoga class, having abandoned Curves because it was feeling like kindergarten. Playing at becoming physically fit feels too much like gym, which I failed in school.
At the yoga class, get to shine. I hardly ever fall over (grin). All those years of ballet lessons have meant good posture and balance, even if I have a Buddha-belly. I'm flexible and imagine with my eyes closed that I am svelt. What a smooth, velvetly slim word. Svelt. That's it, I'm gonna be Svelt instead of ClearSkies - how clunky and... BLUE.
But not yet.

Yes, I feel beautiful when I am in a pose, and all lined up well. Even with my bigger than Buddha belly and the rest of the extra pounds. I think there's something about excellent posture and something aesthetically beautiful when everything's in alignment that goes beyond the visual into the self.
And yes, svelte. Great word. I like it, my svelte buddy.
