Atticus, Thanks. I didn't realize the long reach of homeland security. And if I may dare to be so, well, uncivil as well as displaying my ignorance, is the term "friggen" considered un-civil. Oh, boy, just recalled a line from Frank
Zappa: "Who are the brain police?" Gotta root that one out of my collection. In fact some Zappa might do me a world of good.
I read "the Naked and the dead" a long time ago. I also read "Catch-22" which really scared me out of the last vestiges of religious belief's. Joseph Heller? Forget "Texas Chain Saw Massacre" Heller wrote the sequel to Moby Dick. I've been thinking of re-reading that and Tom Jones as an antidote. Thanks again for reminding me that civility in writing perhaps should reflect the language of the civilians. Cockeyed.
