Godsend (My first poem)

Posted by alesta on October 1, 2004, at 19:31:39

It is that affable, cognizant smile
Which breaks on his exquisite visage
That speaks many volumes
Of an eternity spent in dazzling unison,
His warm, beckoning body presses against mine,
As he strokes me softly
With the most alluring, adoring touch,
His eyes are locked with my own
Unveiling unrelenting, infatuous desire
As he softly whispers and murmurs sweet nothings
In a formidable world monopolized by madness
In the eternal, unfathomable darkness,
Waiting for the triumphant daylight
To deflect its remarkable iridescence
Upon the desolate enveloping landscape
-Amy
