Methadone can used to help withdrawal from all opiates, but it seems an unusual descision for someone who has become addicted to prescribed painkillers. Maybe she was taking them illegally? The Klonopin+Methadone could be dangerous in high doses as they're both CNS depressants, but the prescriber would probably have taken that into account when deciding the dose.
