I went back to school at age 41. I really enjoyed it the first couple of years, but I got sick toward the end and had to cut back my schedule. Still, I kept plugging along and I got my degree last year, and it was very fulfilling. (I didn't go to college after high school.) I'm thinking of going back to study Spanish next! (Maybe at the local community college.)

Maybe take one class, and see how it goes? I wouldn't worry a lot about taking something that you might need later. Start with something that the thought of excites you. If you're worried about it being too much, talk with your husband about what you could drop. I say do it!
