Huh.
I thought money was a kind of stop-gap to keep people working when they didn't find the work they were doing to be particularly meaningful / worthwhile / helpful / enjoyable.
But I guess volunteering is less and less about meaningful work and more and more about rattling a tin to support the charities board of directors...
I find that work (whether it be mental or physical) is something that you can train. My capacity builds up with practice and time. Other things can help build up my work capacity, too. A good nights sleep. Quality nutrition.
