OK, I know this belongs in Health, but Health is deserted right now. Maybe we can re-direct to Health later.
OK, so I got my blood test results back and absolutely everything is normal, even vitamin D, which is great because it was low before but then I started taking vitamin D supplements.
I got a copy of the results and noticed that my ferritin is 62 and normal is 80 to 300. Now my doctor didn't tell me anything was low or anything, but I know from researching hair loss that under 70 ferritin levels will cause excessive hair loss in some people.
I want to increase my ferritin to 100-200. What are some ways to do this?
I'm currently taking a multivitamin with some iron. I drink a glass of orange juice with my multivitamin to increase iron absorption.
Should I also add a couple spoonfuls of blackstrap molasses?
